The Mark Of A Professional

Starting our latest project, Through The Ears Of A Horse, has required me to start learning a variety of new skills. The one I am currently focused on is learning video editing. By learning this new skill, I realized that one of the signs of a true professional is a flawless transition. It seems to me that this is a good judge across many professions. With horses, seamless transitions in gait and direction, is a goal we all strive for regardless of discipline. In my flow arts and fire spinning, I am constantly practicing the transitions from one move to another. Again, in learning video editing, the mark of a professional is a perfect transition in both audio and video. How could perfecting the transitions improve your work?
