Minimalist

" I would rather own a little and see the world than own the world and see a little."

-Alexander Sattler

When I started out on my goal to convert my trailer into an off the grid living quarters trailer and begin a minimalist lifestyle, I held certain ideas as to what was going to be easy to live without and what would be difficult. At this stage I am still basically glamping while I wait to have the funds to accomplish the next phase. While I do miss having electricity, I am able to make do by charging things in my truck and using coffee shops and such to do my computer work. It'll be great to have running water even in a limited supply. However, what I miss the most is cabinets. The cabinets and furnishings will be the last stage of my trailer conversion. While it has been frustrating not being able to move forward with my conversion, I think it has saved me from issues I would have found in the future. The biggest of which was a small leak in the roof. It was small enough, that had I installed the ceiling insulation, I wouldn't have noticed it until it started molding or creating other problems. I never would have guessed that when I started but that is part of the adventure.
